INGRID KRAFTCHENKO ‘BODYMAP 23’
(THE SUN IS ASH)
Taking place in the depths of a London Underground abandoned tunnel, Ingrid Kraftchenko closed Saturday nights official London Fashion Week Schedule with a dark and creative twist on ecofuturism, with a political and avant-garde collection.
Emblazoned in red and black, the models took to the runway in a ritualistic catwalk as a tribute to the dystopian and utilitatian. Dressed in leather, sheer fabrics and an array of intricate textiles and crochet, the undeniable talent of Ingrid Kraftchenko came together through structure and statement. Drawing inspiration from the climate around her, Ingrid Kraftchenko’s androgynous designs draw inspiration from anger, euphoria and all that encompass femininity for a spectacle of the beyond.
