Alectra Rothschild / Masculina AW25
Give this girl a gun and let her sleep with it at night and let the sun carve memories in her face and let her walk into the unknown depths with rage as her fire and sincerity as her weapon and let her shoot those who carved away her wings and let her take them back and let her walk and give this girl a gun and do not condone a survivor for not only surviving but bringing life and let her eyes unsee what the child saw and give this girl a gun and let her fire it into the inner depths of the hellish chambers that are his heart and let her fly again and gift her wings and give this girl a gun.
Poem written by MissAmy Assakaf.
350 transpeople were killed in 2024.
Highest number to date.
These Numbers only reflect the transpeople who was NOT misgendered.
The real numbers are way higher.
The majority of these Numbers are transwomen of color.
Trans people have the highest suicide-rate of any minority. 30-50% try to commit suicide. Which is the highest percentage of any minority group in the world.
We face the disproportional homelessness and joblessness because of discrimination.
We need protection.
GIVE THE GIRL A GUN.
Trans lives matter. Black trans lives matter.
REST IN POWER TO OUR DEAR SISTERS, BROTHERS AND SIBLINGS LOST ALONG THE WAY.
COLLECTION DETAILS
The collection seeks to visualize the emotional landscapes of wanting autonomy over ones body. But more so it explores the vastness of the traumatized body. The scars and bruises from mental and physical abuse that we as trans people face daily. The dresses are shredded and falling off the body showing that we are constantly battling the world around us for just existing. The custom latex are full of the blood that gushes from our wounds. We want vengeance. The coats are strong and protective from the world but also serves as anonymity - as assassins we Will get an eye for an eye. The color story of the collection explores the ideas of guns.. silver, gun metal, black.
The majority of the collection is upcycled and made from deadstock materials. This season many are made using TENCEL TM*, fibers derived from wood sourced from responsibly managed forests and produced in a resource efficient closed-loop process, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to sustainability. Key pieces include a tailored trench coat, accented by flowing panels that cascade with effortless grace, and fluid liquid-like dresses crafted from translucent jersey, offering a soft, almost weighless drape. *trademark of Lenzing AG
All fur and leather is upcycled and in collaboration with Mikkel Schou.
RUNWAY SHOW DETAILS
“We’re creating a platform and spotlighting performance acts and movements. The spatial design and set design is based on lighting, blending elements of club culture with brutalist aesthetics; shadows stretch into infinity, while the platform becomes strikingly overexposed at key moments, amplifying the impact of each performance and the collection presented on the runway.”
Once again dj g2g collaborated with me on creating the soundtrack which explores rage. It’s hard, deconstructed and a madhouse. With screams by the ever talented Jada.
Styling is done in collaboration with my dear friend Anna Gunvor Hyttel and explores deconstruction and amplifying the distressed mood of the collection.
The opening act of the show is performed and written in collaboration with Cassie Augusta Jørgensen also addressing the rage from existing as a transperson. We have referenced queer and trans icons like Divine The Drag Queen and Octavia Saint Laurent.
The Jewellery is created by Azad Jewels and is his latest offering for his brand.
Killjoynails created custom nails in the shape of bullets for the show.

German designers kicked off day one on the runway, as Kilian Kerner, Horror Vacui, Danny Reinke, Marina Hoermanseder, and Sia Arnika launched what will be several magnificent days in Berlin Fashion Week for the AW25 Season.
Sia Arnika’s Fall/Winter 2025/26 collection is a tribute to memory, allure, and wetness. It tells the story of the Harbor Bitch—a woman who exists on the edges of myth and menace. This symbolic clock, currently set at 90 seconds to midnight, serves as a warning to humanity about the threat of self-destruction.
HORROR VACUI, translating to 'fear of empty spaces' from Latin, encapsulates the brand's ethos - every piece is a canvas for intricate details and rich narratives. With the charm of Bavarian tradition, the signature scalloped edges, Froschgoscherl trims, and meticulous smockings are the heartbeats of Anna's creations, ensuring that every piece resonates with the depth of artisanal craftsmanship. A testament to Anna's dedication to filling life's voids with beauty, one garment at a time.
In his Fall/Winter 2025/26 collection titled "Shitstorm", Kilian Kerner Berlin addresses a highly topical and socially relevant issue: hate and hostility on the internet.
