Netflix's "Season of Love" event revealed exciting new details about Season 4, including cast additions, elaborate masquerade costumes, and a pivotal romantic encounter.

The fourth season of Bridgerton turns its focus to the bohemian second son Benedict (Luke Thompson). Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down -- until he meets a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother's masquerade ball.

At Netflix's Valentine's Day "Season of Love" event, hosted by Queen Charlotte actress Golda Rosheuvel, exciting details emerged about Bridgerton Season 4.

The event revealed that Sophie's character will face challenging circumstances as her romance with Benedict unfolds. Fans can look forward to stunning period costumes during the masquerade ball, with Hugh Sachs (Brimsley) providing a sneak peek at the upcoming fashions. Adding to the excitement, Simone Ashley will reprise her role as Kate Sharma, bringing continuity from Season 2.

The new season will showcase fresh locations, including Benedict's intimate countryside retreat, My Cottage, where part of this romantic tale will take place.

Rosamund Li is played by Michelle Mao. Driven by ambition and her mother's influence, Rosamund serves as Araminta's favored daughter and social accomplice.

Posy Li is played by Isabella Wei. Rosamund’s younger, kinder sister is also debuting this year.

Araminta Gunningworth is played by Katie Leung (you may know her as Cho Chang, from the Harry Potter films!). Araminta Gunningworth is the stepmother of Sophie Beckett - fans of the book will look forward to this character! Elegant and ruthlessly protective of her social status, Araminta brooks no challenges to her carefully cultivated position within society.

How many episodes are there in Bridgerton Season 4? 

Eight episodes have been confirmed for the new season. While episode titles are yet to be announced, fans are eager to learn whether Season 4 will follow Season 3's two-part release format or return to the single-release approach of Seasons 1 and 2.
